I love bargains but giveaways and freebies are better.
I came across ValentineKisses.com and saw that she was having a giveaway. How awesome is that?
I just drooled looking at the photos of her giveaway prizes...so many cute girly stuff!! Me WANT!!
What I like about her blog is that there are a lot of reviews on makeup, nail polishes and a lot more. Reading makeup blogs are so fun and I really learn a lot coz I'm no makeup pro.

Outfit Post: Mori Girl
I just came up with this outfit because I thought it was cute then my sister saw it and said "you look like a mori girl".
A what?
So I did a couple of searching on the net and found this..
Mori Girl fashion recently emerged in 2007 in Japan. Mori means "forest" in Japanese, and the style concept is "a girl who looks like she is living in the forest" The look is natural & earthy. The fictional archetype was declared as being the character of Hagu from Honey & Clover. The actual archetype of Mori Girl fashion is the actress Yuu Aoi, who as a matter of fact played Hagu in the Honey & Clover movie in 2006. Mori girl has developed not only as a style, but as a lifestyle as well! Quirky girls who love vintage clothing, pocket watches, tea, moss or going snooping in the grandma's attic will feel right at home in this fashion style. Although mori girl is natural, it does not mean it is simple! Mori girl does have a little bit of complexity to it. - wikihow
The mori girl is a popular subculture in Japan. It may seem simple to dress in a mori girl-like fashion but its more complicated than simple. There's a lot of layering and details and earth tone colors are emphasized.

another cute mori girl |
I really had no idea that I wore a mori girl outfit but I think it turned out quiet well.
Dress: Thrifted Straw Fedora: Saizen + DIY black ribbon detail Belt: Robinsons dept. Store Brown Boots: Primadonna Ring: SM dept. store |
I love this dress because of the soft texture and prints plus its thrifted! Dresses like this inspire me to thrift, its like a new found hobby. =)
What do you think of my mori girl outfit?

Outfit Post: Sheer, Lace and Leather
I had this sheer black top from our recent trip in Baguio. I found it in one of the many thrift stores present there, though I haven't tried it out until I found this black faux leather jacket on sale at SM. My cousin actually found this and wanted it for herself but it was too big for her. Lucky for me though the size was perfect on me. The lace skirt is actually a lace dress that I reconstructed into a skirt because I have been wanting a lace skirt for the longest time.

The sheer top also has fringes |
I wanted to combine textures hence this outfit post. I don't know why, but I tend to veer on blacks and whites more often. Maybe because it flatters me? Or maybe because black is really something versatile. This outfit speaks edginess but with a romantic feel to it don't you think?
Till next time!

Outfit Post #2 I'm feeling romantic
This dress is actually my mom's which she bought from Awear. The length of the dress is actually below the knees which I didn't like so I just made a few modifications to make it more appealing to me. I was so psyched to wear my newest nude heels so I decided to wear this dress with a whole lot of colors.
I love gold accessories. |
This was actually a test shot. It was so windy and my hair kept blowing through my hair haha |
